2004 -2010
Photographers and film workers
On a cold windy day on top of a mountain in Switzerland in 2004, the idea of Monky Productions was born. On return, some of Norways active extreme sports and art photographers joined forces into a collective of visual artists. For the next years, we produced visuals for magazines and agencies, from snowy peaks and steep hillsides around Norway and Europe.
At the same time we started freelancing within the film industry, doing a lot of varied roles from locations dep. to set design and technical dep. This became a shift in the company focus and we dove more and more into the larger, crew based, production world.
2011 - Today
Service & Line Production
Around 2011 we started doing more and more service productions for foreign photographers, producers and agencies traveling in to Norway. Today we support and service photo- and film shoots, often hybrid productions where both are done side by side.
We specialise on shoots at remote locations and love a challenging area. Be it filming a walk on a glacier, a road trip way up north or a meeting in the Arctic wilderness, we are ready to be part of the solution.
When Covid hit and restraints with completely closed boarders in to Norway became reality, we joined forces with other Production Companies locally and internationally, extending our service range, and have since been part of several productions as Line Producers creating streaming TV and Feature films as well as TVC.

Started this venture some years ago. Has been sticking to the plan ever since.
When the going gets tough, he gets people on the ball and is not afraid of getting his hands dirty.
Positive, hard working and calm under pressure.
He is also a photographer, but has been a dedicated film worker, ever since he found that there was more to the trade, than just a camera.

Our head of locations. A highly skilled and dedicated professional.
One of Norways most experienced Location Managers, known for his ability to consistently deliver results and a willingness to go above and beyond, in order to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality of standards.
Brilliant, positive and fluent in Norwegian, English, Spanish and Russian. It is no surprise that he is quoted to be "one to bring to war” or “one to marry”.
Often seen traveling to or from somewhere. Usually somewhere exciting.
